EVGA is here to say that there’s gotta be a better way. The iCX way is to instead rely on a series of thermal sensors and microcontrollers built onto the PCB that intelligently determine which of this graphics card’s fans should spin, at what speed, and for how long...EVGA has pushed the core and boost clocks to 1,569MHz and 1,683MHz, respectively. The GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 also gets a small bump to its effective memory clock, raising it to 11,016MHz.

When it comes to the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING iCX 3.0 there’s little not to like, Dual BIOS, ICX Cooling solution, 10 + 2 phase power, massively powerful, eye candy galore and knowing you can play any game out there at max settings. We saw the temperature spike to 70°C for a split second then the third fan kicked in and leveled out at 69°C and remained at 68 – 69°C showing what a fantastic cooler the ICX design really is.

On the Master BIOS which has a little less power target and a little bit less fan curve hit 60c, we never even saw 61c, so that tells me we've got a LOT of headroom for overclocking, and that is freaking amazing
